Privacy Policy

Effective Date: [April 1, 2026‌]

1. Introduction

Credit Assistant ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the App.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Effective Date" of this Privacy Policy. You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of the App after the date such revised Privacy Policy is published.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we collect depends on how you use the App and the permissions you grant. Please note that any permissions described below are optional—you may deny or revoke them at any time through your device settings, and the core functionality of the App (such as basic credit score estimation) will still be available, although some features that rely on that information may not function properly.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

· Account Information: When you register, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and any other information you voluntarily provide.

· Communications: If you contact us for support, we may collect your contact information and the contents of your messages.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

We automatically collect certain information when you use the App, without requiring your explicit consent through a permission prompt. This information is necessary for the basic operation of the App, for improving our services, and for security and fraud prevention purposes.

· Device Information: We automatically collect information about your mobile device, such as device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (e.g., Android ID, advertising ID), mobile network information, and device settings. This information helps us ensure the App functions properly, troubleshoot issues, and analyze usage trends to improve our services.

· Application List (Installed Apps): We automatically collect a list of apps installed on your device. This information helps us detect fraudulent activity, verify your identity, and improve our risk assessment models. We do not associate this list with personal identifiers beyond your user account, and it is used solely for internal security and analytics.

· Approximate Location: We may collect your approximate location based on your IP address or network information (e.g., Wi-Fi networks, cell towers). This information helps us provide locationbased credit offers, comply with regional regulatory requirements, and detect potentially fraudulent transactions. You cannot disable this collection through a simple permission toggle, but you may limit it by using a VPN or disabling network connections; however, doing so may affect the accuracy of locationbased features.

2.3 Information Collected with Your Permission (Optional)

With your explicit consent, we may access the following types of information from your device. You are not required to grant these permissions—if you deny or revoke them, the core functionality of the App will remain available, but certain optional features may not work.

· SMS Messages: We may read your SMS messages only if you grant the SMS permission. This information is used to automatically detect and verify one-time passwords (OTPs) during login, and to analyze financial transaction messages (e.g., bank alerts, payment reminders) to help us assess your creditworthiness. We do not store the content of your SMS messages beyond what is necessary for the analysis, and we do not share the raw SMS content with third parties. You may revoke this permission at any time; if you do, we will not access your SMS data, and the credit assessment will rely on other available information.

· Camera: We may access your device's camera only if you grant the camera permission. This permission is used solely to allow you to take photos or attach images when submitting feedback or contacting customer support. This helps us better understand and address your inquiries. We do not store images longer than necessary for resolving your request. You may revoke camera access at any time, and the core credit assessment will remain available.

· Call Logs:When you register or log in using voice verification codes, we may access call logs (e.g., duration, phone number, status) solely to verify that the SIM card receiving the code is active and matches your device. This helps confirm your identity and protect against fraud.This permission is optional—declining it will not affect your ability to use voice verification.

2.4 Information from Other Sources

We may obtain information about you from thirdparty sources, such as credit bureaus, publicly available databases, or partners, to supplement the information we collect and to enhance our credit evaluation models. We will handle such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and any applicable legal requirements.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including to:

· Provide, operate, and maintain the App;

· Assess your creditworthiness and generate credit scores or reports;

· Verify your identity and prevent fraud, unauthorized transactions, and other illegal activities;

· Improve, personalize, and expand our services;

· Communicate with you, including for customer support and to send you updates, security alerts, and administrative messages;

· Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.

4. Sharing Your Information

We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations:

· With Service Providers: We may share your information with thirdparty vendors, consultants, and other service providers who perform services on our behalf (e.g., cloud storage, data analysis, fraud detection). These parties are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.

· For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).

· Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice in the App of any change in ownership or uses of your information.

· With Your Consent: We may share your information for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time we collect the information or with your consent.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Your Rights and Choices

· Permissions (Optional Features): You can control the permissions (SMS, camera, etc.) through your device settings. If you deny or revoke a permission, we will no longer access that information, but some features may not work as intended.

· Automatically Collected Information: For information collected automatically (such as device information, installed apps list, and approximate location based on IP address), you may limit collection by adjusting your device settings (e.g., disabling network connections, using a VPN) or by uninstalling the App. Please note that restricting this information may impact the functionality of certain features.

· Access and Update: You may review and update your account information by logging into the App.

· Data Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@stefaniniph.com. We will process your request in accordance with applicable law.

· Opt-Out of Communications: You may opt out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. You cannot opt out of servicerelated communications (e.g., account verification, security notices).

6. Data Retention and Security

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (e.g., for legal, tax, or accounting reasons). We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 18, please contact us at support@stefaniniph.com

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information. Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
